What a weekend!

Our weekend started with snow! Here it is, almost the end of March and it finally snows. It was so cool! And we were going out in it. We had a lunch/geocaching date with another expat family, and we got to start in the snow!

The girls watching the snow. Miss M at our first cache site.

Miss S at the first cache site.
We had the best geocaching day ever! We worked our way through a 9 cache series in a nearby town. Here is a picture of the kids about half way through the day, taking a break and having a little snack. After the snack, our friend decided that he preferred to hold hands with Miss M and Miss S rather than his own parents! He was a happy camper for the rest of the day as long as the girls were nearby. Quite cute.

Here are some of the sights from the caches. The first is a church in the town where we were caching. The second is of the highest peak in the area, capped with snow. It was quite a beautiful series of caches.
Here are the Misses on Easter morning. It was cold an snowy again, and we were supposed to have a church Easter egg hunt. We were prepared to be outside. The girls wore their snow boots, and dressed very warmly. They were so excited that they didn't pay a bit of attention to the minister. Finally it was time to hunt - inside the tiny one-room church. It was an interesting set-up, but the kids had fun. And we now have a good bit of imported American candy. :)
