Me of little faith?

One of the tasks that comes with a move back to the US is the disposal of our European goods. They won't work in the US. We have had pretty good luck with most everything despite the tough economic times. The biggest adventure has been our cars.

The Toyota Yaris sold pretty quickly. Husband drove it to work for a couple of days with signs in the window, parked next to a busy sidewalk, and had an offer. Boom! Sold for close to the asking price. Happy family.

The Opel has been more of a challenge. We went several days without any offers. We finally decided to pay to list it in a local "stuff for sale" paper. Husband has also been drivit it to work with signs in the window and parking in the exact same lucky spot as he chose for the Toyota.

We have been inundated with calls in the past 2 days! We currently stand with 3 offers. One family is driving 3 hours to come get the car. If they don't choose it, we have a local dealer and a local family who are interested. All of these people are prepared to take the car immediately. Like TODAY!! We also have 3 appointments scheduled folr the weekend. Don't think those will be happening.

So we have gone from famine to feast. And I am thinking maybe we should have listed the car for more!
