I opened the shutters on our sliding glass door this afternoon and saw a curious sight. There was a long line of caterpillars making its way across our patio. Miss M was not particularly impressed, but Miss S thought it was pretty cool. I grabbed a tape measure, and the line was approximately 12 feet long! That's about 70 caterpillars if each one is 2 inches long. I wonder where they are going.
