A Few Christmas Memories

Here are the Misses in front of the Advil Calendar. They have gotten big enough to take the magnets out of the "hidden" pocket, find the correct magnet for the day, and put the magnet on the tree. They only really need help with the top few ornaments and getting the star to play. Now if we could just get the name right!

At school last year the girls made really cool Skiing Santa decorations out of milk bottles. This year we had 2 different holiday crafts. Miss S made a coronne and Miss M made a boule. They are both very proud of their crafts, and wanted to open them immediately. The boule is now on the tree and the coronne is above our wall clock. The most interesting part for me is that the girls could explain what we should do with each item, but didn't have a clue as to the names in English.
Here we are working on letters to Santa. This was a real eye-opener for me. Each girls wrote her own letter, getting help with spelling and only a few of the letters. Once they had written a letter once, they were able to write that same letter as many times as necessary without further help. WOW!! When did my babies grow up?

These were great memories to capture! Did you take a photo or scan the letters to Santa? I would love to see them!
