We had a very interesting conversation at dinner last night. I just love those! The Misses are getting more and more interested in cooking as they get older. They enjoy helping in the kitchen, and are able to do more everyday. We were discussing what all they had done in the kitchen during the day, and Miss M proudly stated that she helped her father grill dinner. Somehow this segued into a discussion of all of the foods that we can or have cooked on our grill. My husband made the comment that we can cook pretty much anything that we'd cook in the kitchen out on the grill. That made me think about all that we have tried so far this year. Here's a short list:
beef tenderloin
pork tenderloin (we like McCormick's powdered marinades for these)
pork chops - marinated in whatever strikes me
sausage
steak - we prefer top sirloin or NY strip, both sprinkled with either onion salt or Montreal Steak seasoning
whole chickens - we have tried Sticky Chicken and a lemon-rosemary roasted chicken
And for the veggies:
potatoes
french fries with cheese and parsley
zucchini
roasted garlic
I have even seen recipes for grilled salads. We haven't gone that far yet. I do intend to grill some corn this year!

That's awesome Stephanie. I love the grill, less dishes!
We have grilled all the usual meats, plus peppers, onions, portabellos, romaine, radicchio, bok choy, zucchini/squash, red potatoes, corn on the cob, pineapple, asparagus, and quesidillas. My kids have never offered to help though. :)
Try the salad, it's pretty good.
