A Little Love from Home

I LOVE the Christmas season for so many reasons. Today I love it because it brought so much to fun to our house in the past 2 days. We have been getting packages! Three of them! It was like opening huge hugs from the US. There was a mix of Christmas gifts, birthday gifts for me, new slippers for the girls, and FOOD! Why is it that food gifts always seems to scream LOVE? The girls received a box of Cheerios, some Kool-Aid, and two boxes of grahm cracker sticks. You would have thought it was a bunch of rare gems from their reactions. Getting them to the table for dinner was no problem. Each one of them ate 3 servings of Cheerios along with the rest of their dinner, and still wanted dessert. They were still excited this morning, so much so that we all sat down for breakfast together for the first time in months. Want to guess what they ate? Not Cheerios. The other treat from the US - graham cracker sticks. Breakfast of champions, ranking right under Pop Tarts.
